Ariana Grande - Her amazing voice and how she uses it
Ariana Grande is one of the most popular singers in the world. She was born in June 1993 in Florida, in the United States. From a very young age she loved singing and started performing on stage when she was only eight years old. She first became famous as an actress in the television shows Victorious and Sam & Cat, but her true passion has always been music.
What makes Ariana special is her voice. She has a very wide vocal range – about four octaves. This means she can sing very low, warm notes and then jump to extremely high notes that sound almost magical. One of her most famous techniques is called the whistle register. These are super-high notes that sound like a whistle or a flute. You can hear this beautiful sound in songs such as “The Way”, “No Tears Left to Cry” and “God is a Woman”. Many people love these moments because they feel like a superpower in music.
Ariana also uses fast runs and riffs. These are quick groups of notes that add energy and emotion to her songs. She learned many of these skills by listening to singers like Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. She practices every day, drinks lots of water and does special warm-up exercises to keep her voice healthy and strong.
Ariana’s voice is not just about high notes. She uses it to tell real stories and share feelings. Her songs often talk about love, confidence and mental health. She is also very kind to her fans. She has nine rescue dogs and sometimes visits hospitals to make sick children smile.
In 2024, she returned to acting and played the good witch Glinda in the movie Wicked. The movie was a big success, and many young people went to see it. Ariana shows us that a beautiful voice comes from hard work and practice. Her music makes millions of teenagers around the world feel happy, strong and understood.
