AUDIO TRANSCRIPT

Maya: Hey, Dominic! How’s it going? It’s been a while since we last caught up!
Dominic: What’s going on? I’m swamped right now.
Maya: Oh, I totally get it, but I just wanted to check-in. How’s Sarah? How did she do at the tennis tournament?
Dominic: Yeah, it was fine. Since Helen quit, I’ve been inundated with emails and my phone’s been ringing off the hook.
Maya: Did she manage to -
Dominic: Look, Maya, what do you need?
Maya: Oh, sorry, I don’t want to keep you. I just wanted to run something by you about the project we’re working on. I’ve been thinking about some changes we could make to streamline things a bit, and I really think -
Dominic: Maya, honestly, now isn’t the best time for this. I’ve got a lot to do, you should know this.
Maya: Oh, I understand, Dominic. I don’t want to keep you too long, but this is imperative. We’ve been talking a lot recently about diversifying our revenue streams, and I think if we adjust -
Dominic: Seriously, Maya, I can’t deal with this at the moment. Why are you bringing this up now? I’m not in the mood for chitchat.
Maya: I get it, I know you’re busy, but I just need a few minutes. Like I said, this relates to what we’ve been working on. It could really help us stay ahead of the pack -
Dominic: Maya! I said I don’t have time! You’re not listening! I’ve got deadlines and meetings all day. If it’s that important, send me an email or something. I’m done here.
Maya: I didn’t mean to rattle you, Dominic. I just thought -
Dominic: Enough! (sound of phone hanging up)
