Students exercise their imagination by predicting the content of four stories which they will encounter later in the lesson. They read a story and identify some of its key grammatical features before considering how stories that are written for exams are marked. They then gain some practice in using these features before planning and writing a story of their own. There is also a short optional exercise related to the key word story. (by Stephanie Hirschman)
