ONE
Andre: Alejandro! I was hoping you’d be here!
Alejandro: Andre! Good to see you again. May I introduce my colleague, Elizabeth?
Andre: How do you do?
Elizabeth: How do you do?
Andre: How was your journey here?
Alejandro: Fine, actually. We came by train and for once, everything went smoothly.
Andre: Great. Well, I wish I had more time to catch up, but I have several important meetings today, so I must be on my way.
Elizabeth: Of course. We won’t keep you then. A pleasure to have met you.
Andre: Likewise. Oh, and Alejandro - please give my regards to Jane.
Alejandro: I’ll be sure to do that.
TWO
Chris: Lucy! Is that you?
Lucy: Chris! It’s been ages! Do you two know each other? Chris, this is Emma, my sister.
Chris: Lucy’s sister? Nice to meet you. I’ve heard so much about you!
Emma: Uh oh – should I be blushing? Nice to meet you too.
Lucy: How’s it going then?
Chris: Not too bad, and you?
Lucy: Can’t complain. But oh my god - is that the time? We should be going. We have to pick up our dad from the station.
Chris: I’ll let you go then. Say hi to your dad for me.
Lucy: Will do.
Emma: Good to have met you, Chris!
