In this lesson, students develop their conversational skills by describing certain body parts. To introduce the topic, the students match pictures and sentences. They then identify and learn a set of body parts and practice the vocabulary in a variety of communicative pair and group work activities and games. They then practice describing and guessing different body parts in a speaking mingle before listening to a set of instructions using common body-related verbs and practicing the language in a variety of tasks. The students then focus on possessive adjectives and use the language in a productive activity which involves discussing matching body parts to the right person.
