In this lesson, students develop their conversational skills by practicing introductions, countries, and nationalities. First, the students listen to two people meeting for the first time and develop their listening skills before focusing on the phrases and using them in a variety of communicative tasks. The students then identify different countries from a short video and then focus on different word stress patterns before completing a series of interactive activities to practice the language. The students then identify nationalities and take part in a group speaking task. There is a final game to review the vocabulary. (by V. Aitken)
