AUDIO TRANSCRIPT

Anna: Josh! I haven’t seen you in ages. What have you been up to?
Josh: Hey, Anna! I know, right? I’ve been really focused on my new job lately. It’s taken up so much of my time.
Anna: Oh wow, congratulations! What’s the job about?
Josh: Thanks! I’m responsible for organizing events at a community center. It’s fun but also a bit stressful sometimes.
Anna: Sounds amazing, though. Are you happy with it so far?
Josh: Yeah, I’m really satisfied with the work itself, but I’m still getting used to the long hours.
Anna: That makes sense. I remember when I first started my teaching job. I wasn’t prepared for how exhausting it could be!
Josh: Exactly! Sometimes I even worry about forgetting important details because there's so much going on.
Anna: Do you have any support from your team?
Josh: Yeah, luckily, I can rely on my colleagues a lot. Everyone’s very supportive.
Anna: That’s great to hear. Speaking of support, I’m thinking about taking a course in event management myself. Any advice?
Josh: Oh, definitely go for it! It really helps you feel more confident about planning and organizing things. Plus, it looks good on your CV.
Anna: True. I’ve always been interested in organizing events, but never felt ready to make it a career.
Josh: It’s never too late! And you’re so good at dealing with people. You’d be great.
Anna: Thanks, Josh! Talking to you has made me feel a lot better about the idea.
Josh: No problem! Let’s grab coffee sometime soon and catch up properly.
Anna: I’d love that. I’ll text you!
