A brief explanation of this point is provided as well as practice exercises and speaking and writing tasks. Dear Martha,
Thanks for agreeing to look after the house while we’re away, and of course, keeping Harold company. Here are a few instructions to help you during your stay.
Harold needs a walk at least twice a day. We suggest taking him to the park down the road. He always enjoys playing with his friends there! He still hasn’t learned to come when someone calls his name, so we strongly recommend using the leash when you’re in the street. I also warn you not to let him go in the lake as he’ll get very dirty and need a bath. And he hates taking a bath!
Harold has quite long hair, so we hope you don’t mind brushing him every couple of days. We promise to bring you back a very special present from our vacation to say thank you. Call us if you need anything!
