In this lesson, students develop their conversational skills by talking about different types of movement. The students start by describing two images to engage with the topic. They then learn a set of related verbs and practice the new vocabulary in a variety of communicative activities. The students then develop their listening skills by hearing a description of a picture of people doing different actions. They label specific information before noticing and reviewing the use of the present continuous tense. Then, using the language, they describe another image. There is an additional group mingle speaking task to personalize the language and a final game to review the lesson. (by V. Aitken)
