AUDIO/VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

Speaker: Huge candles welcome visitors to the Dresden Christmas Market! There has been a Christmas market here since fourteen thirty-four.
The market is open for around five weeks before Christmas.
Dresden is particularly famous for a seasonal fruitcake called stollen. This one is over six and a half feet long!
Many of the two to three million visitors will enjoy some mulled wine, a hot, sweet drink made with cinnamon and other spices.
Shoppers can choose from an amazing range of toys, decorations and gifts from the market’s two hundred and forty stalls.
These large figures are part of a traditional six-level Christmas Tower.
Dresden Christmas Market has the tallest Christmas Tower in the world, at forty-six feet tall.
Every year, a tree measuring around sixty-five feet tall is put up in the center of the market and covered with lights.
