This lesson will center around a text which discusses Blue Monday - the saddest day of the year, depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder, and the backlash to Blue Monday. Students will work on vocabulary connected to the topic, search the text for synonyms, and answer comprehension questions. The discussion will focus on the causes of and solutions to depression.
