AUDIO TRANSCRIPT

Sarah: Hey, Mike! How was your weekend?
Mike: Oh, it was pretty good! I went hiking with some friends on Saturday. What about you?
Sarah: That sounds fun! I didn’t do much on Saturday, but on Sunday, I was cleaning my apartment most of the day.
Mike: Really? Cleaning all day? That doesn’t sound very exciting.
Sarah: (Laughs) Yeah, it wasn’t! But while I was cleaning the kitchen, I found an old photo album. So, I stopped cleaning and spent hours looking at old pictures.
Mike: Oh wow, I love finding old photos! What kind of pictures did you find?
Sarah: Mostly family pictures. There was this one photo of me when I was about five years old – I was wearing the silliest Halloween costume!
Mike: (Laughs) That must have been adorable!
Sarah: It was! Anyway, enough about me. Tell me more about your hike. Where did you go?
Mike: We went to Blue Ridge Trail. The weather was amazing! The sun was shining, and we were walking through these beautiful forests. It was so peaceful.
Sarah: That sounds perfect. Did anything interesting happen while you were there?
Mike: Actually, yeah! While we were hiking up the trail, we saw a deer really close to us. It was just standing there, watching us for a while before it ran away.
Sarah: Wow, that must have been so cool!
Mike: It was. And later, when we reached the top of the trail, we stopped for a picnic. The view was incredible – you could see for miles.
Sarah: I can imagine! Did you take any pictures?
Mike: Of course! But while I was taking pictures of the view, one of my friends was playing with a frisbee and almost hit me!
Sarah: (Laughs) Typical! That sounds like a great day.
Mike: It really was. But after the hike, I was so tired that I fell asleep as soon as I got home.
Sarah: I bet! Well, it sounds like we both had pretty eventful weekends.
