Narrator: Autum is the season after summer and before winter. In the United States this season in called fall.
In most places in the Northern hemisphere, autumn begins in the last week of September and finishes near the end of December. In the Southern hemisphere this season starts in March and finishes at the end of May.
At this time of year, children go back to school, and the weather becomes colder and windier. The trees start to lose their leaves. Animals look for food for the winter.
