Every year on November 19, World Toilet Day is observed. This day is about inspiring people to address the global sanitation crisis. According to UNICEF and WHO, approximately 60% of the global population, or approximately 4.5 billion people, do not have toilets at home.

This lesson celebrates the toilet – one of the most necessary and important things that everyone should have access to. Students read about World Toilet Day and then discuss and plan a fund-raising event using the IPM formula (impact / project / money).
