This lesson focuses on the Christmas Holiday and traditions around the world. Students start by identifying and practicing Christmas vocabulary through a variety of engaging tasks. They then develop their reading skills with a text about strange Christmas traditions and respond to the topic. Students then watch a short Christmas animation film about a special friendship and complete a variety of pre, during and post-tasks. They finish by designing and writing their own Christmas card (by V. Aitken).
