The man who served alongside the first Black president for eight years is making history again, bringing along the first female vice president in Kamala Harris, riding a shift in independent voters, many of whom chose Trump in 2016 but made a different choice this time around. In this Speech, he also quotes: "I pledge to be a president who seeks not to divide but unify. Who doesn’t see red states or blue states — only the sees the United States. I’ll work as hard for those who didn’t vote for me as those who did."
