AUDIO TRANSCRIPT

Reader: Apples are one of the most popular fruits in the world today.
The first apples came from Central Asia.
The top apple-producing countries are China, Russia, Poland, and India.
There are over 7,500 different varieties of apple; some types are used for eating raw, and some are for cooking.
There are many things to consider when choosing an apple, like the size, the texture, and the flavor.
You also need to know when it’s ready to pick and how long you can keep it after picking.
