AUDIO TRANSCRIPT
Speaker 1: I think the reason why our plan was so successful was that we were lucky enough to have our project manager, Jean. She organized everything and was able to see problems before they happened. She’s been doing that job for over ten years now, so she’s very experienced. She knows what she needs and she knows how to get the job done. I learned a lot from watching her work and I have a lot of respect for her. I don’t think she’s very ambitious as, if she was, she would be in senior management by now. I think it’s just very important to her that she can do her job well.
Speaker 2: First of all, we found a material to use for the clothes we were making which was a lot cheaper than the material we used for the clothes we made last season. It was also a lot stronger which made it a lot more practical because it could be used for longer. This gave us a real advantage over other companies as it meant the price could be very competitive. We also had a really great team of designers who worked together really effectively. There were no arguments and they completed their work really quickly.
