* This is a pilot lesson in LinguaHouse new course plan “Speak English”.

In this lesson, students develop their conversational skills in the context of asking for and giving personal information. Students start by practicing informal greetings in a short speaking task. They then identify and use lexis related to common familiar topics in a variety of student-centered activities and games before completing sentences about themselves and discovering the matching questions. Students then notice different intonation patterns to use with questions before finishing a final communicative task to consolidate all the language from the lesson (by Vicky Aitken).
