This video-based lesson shows a range of different Halloween treats that can be made easily at home using cookies and candy from the supermarket (note that the video has no voice-over). The lesson includes vocabulary development and practice in speaking, and reading and writing instructions. Students react to the material by responding to some discussion questions and then move on to design and present a menu for a Halloween party. There is also a short optional activity related to Halloween jokes (by Stephanie Hirschman).
