Students read an article to find out about the surprisingly rich history of pompoms. The lesson includes vocabulary development, reading practice, and a look at the rules governing adjective order. There is a further pair-work reading exercise and a discussion activity, plus a short optional extension based on giving instructions for making pompoms (by Stephanie Hirschman).
