Students categorize skills needed for two types of jobs and listen to an informal job interview. They then learn about the use of can/can’t to describe abilities and skills, focusing on form and pronunciation. Students interview their partner about what they can and can't do, and there is an optional extension activity which encourages students to reflect on their skills and abilities in English (by Stephanie Hirschman).
