The topic of this lesson is a history of teenagers. Students will learn vocabulary from a reading and video on the topic. The video shows teenagers in the 1950s and students will have to guess the slang terms used and will have the opportunity to discuss the slang they use these days. The final activity is a debate on whether teens have it easier or harder these days. Finally, there are two optional homework tasks - to talk to someone older about their lives as teens and to find some examples of old slang (by J. S. Fox).
