Yes. Our expression is until the cows come home – or you can say till the cows come home.

Grazi
A tradução literal da frase é 'até que as vacas voltem para o estábulo' – vaca é um animal lento, tranquilo, e talvez isso tenha inspirado essa expressão. E também o fato de que o gado é levado para pastar cedinho e trazido de volta bem tarde.

This expression comes from the 16th century and it might have lasted that long because it's amusing, I think. Let's hear examples of how it's used.

• I'm off work tomorrow, so tonight we can party until the cows come home!
• Alan is very stubborn. His wife can try to persuade him until the cows come home but he won't change his mind.
