AUDIO TRANSCRIPT

Driving instructor: Good morning, Sarah! Are you ready for today's driving lesson?
Sarah: Hi, yes, I am! I've been practicing in the parking lot, and I feel more confident now.
Driving instructor: That's great to hear, Sarah. Let's start by heading out onto the road. Go ahead and start the engine.
Sarah: Ok, the engine's on
Driving instructor: Excellent, now remember, always check your mirrors before you start moving. It's important to be aware of your surroundings.
Sarah: Right, I'll do that. All clear!
Driving instructor: Great job. Now, we're in a tight spot here. You can't drive forward, so you'll need to back up a little in order to get out.
Sarah: Um, okay...
Driving instructor: Good, now let's get going. Make a left turn onto Elm Street here.
Sarah: Turning left...
Driving instructor: You're doing well, Sarah. Remember, there's a 30 mile-per-hour speed limit on this road. Please slow down a bit.
Sarah: Got it, I'll watch my speed.
Driving instructor: Good. Now, as we approach this intersection, look carefully before you cross the junction. You don't want to crash into another car!
Sarah: I see, thanks for reminding me.
Driving instructor: No problem, safety first! Now, we're going to switch roles. I'm going to drive now, so please pull over to the side of the road.
Sarah: Alright, you've got the wheel.
Driving instructor: Thank you, Sarah. Remember to make sure the door is locked after you get out of the car.
Sarah: Locked!
Driving instructor: Great. Now, one last thing before we switch. You're driving too slowly. You can speed up a little when it's safe to do so.
Sarah: I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for all your help today!
Driving instructor: You're welcome, Sarah. You're making good progress. Keep practicing, and you'll be a confident driver in no time.
